“The Times We Live In”
by: Bobby Bullard
I have such a humbling remembrance of how the church was looked at as I was growing up as a PK. I can remember that regardless of the size of the church, it was highly respected in the community by those who attended, but also by those who did not attend.
We live in a time where it is nothing for someone to lash out and demonize the church. As I thought about that, I thought maybe it has been going on all along and social media just highlights it these days. Yet regardless of now having social media it does not take away that fact that the church in the time we have been are living is under constant attack.
Here is the catcher, it is not just by those who don’t believe. The church is being attacked by those who say they are believers.
Ephesians 4:29 says, Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that, which is good to the people puse of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
We must be careful in what we allow to come out of our mouth regarding what belongs to God.
