Day 1: The Blessing and Desire of Being in God’s House

The psalmist expresses a deep longing and yearning to be in the house of the Lord, not out of obligation or routine, but out of a genuine relationship with God. This desire is so strong that being away from worship leaves one feeling unfulfilled and incomplete, highlighting the unique joy and satisfaction found only in God’s presence. In a world where church attendance is often seen as optional or unnecessary, we are reminded that gathering together in worship is a source of spiritual strength, encouragement, and delight. Let your heart be stirred to seek God’s presence with the same passion, knowing that time spent in His house is never wasted.
