Day 3: Seeking God’s Help for Every Victory

Sometimes, having many victories can lead to a sense of complacency where you forget to consult the Lord. You might find yourself facing a “small” problem, like the children of Israel at Ai, and realize you cannot win even the minor battles without His guidance. It is often through a loss or a moment of defeat that you are reminded where your true help comes from. Laying prostrate before the Lord allows you to regroup and find the strength to win the overall war. Do not let your successes stop you from praying for God’s help in every area of your life.

Joshua 7:6 – Then Joshua tore his clothes and fell to the earth on his face before the ark of the Lord until the evening, he and the elders of Israel. And they put dust on their heads.
