Day 4: Renewing Your Spirit Within Earthen Vessels

We are all earthen vessels, and the weight of life’s blows can cause obvious stress fractures and cracks. It is not your own power that keeps you together, but the divine power of God holding the vessel intact. Even when you are hard-pressed or cornered, your internal spirit does not have to gasp for breath. While the outward man may be beat up or kicked around, the inward man is renewed day by day. You are strongest at the moment you feel weakest because that is when God’s power is most evident.

2 Corinthians 4:16 – So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
