Day 5: Leftovers Won’t Satisfy a Holy God

God rejects half-hearted offerings. Like cold leftovers compared to a fresh meal, token worship insults the One who deserves our firstfruits. The sermon warned against giving God scraps of time, money, or passion. True devotion brings our best—not perfection, but priority. Christ’s cross demands more than routine; it requires our whole heart.

“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:23–24, ESV)
