Day 4: One Day in His Courts—Better Than a Thousand Elsewhere

A single hour in true worship outweighs years chasing lesser joys. We’ll sit through concerts, binge shows, or grind overtime yet rush out of church. But the psalmist argues: if you’ll linger anywhere, linger here. In His courts, time bends—eternity touches the mundane, and a moment of encounter fuels a lifetime of faith.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand: I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
(Psalm 84:10, KJV)

Reflection: Where do you invest your time without hesitation? What would shift if you valued God’s presence as much as those things?
